PBNJ is made ip of two commands which are scanpbnj and outputpbnj. When you run scanpbnj it technically a script that runs nmap and dumps the results to a database. The scanpbnj command will store results in various database formats including CSV, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQLite. Once the results are stored you can pull the results from the database using outputpbnj which can output report style results in CSV format, tab delimited format, or HTML format. Earlier today while adding a new site to a server running as a web server with many virtual hosts I ran into an error flushing the privileges after I added a new MySQL database followed by a user with only access to that new MySQL database. After a bit of investigation I realized that when I recently updated the MySQL server on the CentOS Linux server in question it must have had some issues during the upgrade. Below I describe not only the error in more detail but also how to resolve the MySQL error when attempting to flush the privileges.
I have been messing around with Django over the past week and experimenting with various settings. I first ran Django using mod_ptyhon from Apache but the results were unimpressive. Apache served the Django project’s pages extremely slow using the Apache mod_python module. After some reading I decided to give the Apache mod_fastcgi module a try to see if the results were any better. I was definitely happier with the web page load time so I then decided to experiment with various FastCGI settings.
