Google has an application called the Google Mobile App which can easily be installed on your BlackBerry cell phone. I currently have a BlackBerry 8320 Curve from T-Mobile. This application is a launchpad for numerous Google application including Google Notebook, Gmail, Google Maps, Google News, Google Reader, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Picassa Web Albums, and Google Sync. Upgrade Gmail and Google Maps On Your BlackBerry Mobile Device

Upgrading Google applications on your Blackberry device is really easy. The main reason for this post is to provide the URL’s needed to upgrade these applications. The upgrade process is quick and should not cause any issues.

Upgrade Mobile Gmail:
In a browser on your mobile phone visit http://m.google.com/mail which will begin the process. Click on the “Install Now” link which will verify your current version and let you know what version is going to be installed. Click OK and the download process begins. The download also installs the application. Once it is upgraded login to activate the application.

Import Outlook Contacts Into Gmail and Export Gmail Contacts to CSV

Google’s Gmail has a handy little interface to import and export contacts in CSV format which will allow for easy synchronization between Outlook’s contacts and Gmail’s contacts without having to install some third party software. Most people will typically be making the switch to use more Outlook thus needing to import contacts into Gmail from Outlook so below the first set of instructions explains how to do so. The second set of instructions will explain how to export from Google in Outlook CSV format and then import back into Outlook. Both import functions provide a merge so duplicates can be kept to a minimum or really even zero duplicates.
