I’m not quite convinced that Evernote can scale by embedding files in the notes. Also, my files are organized in a directory structure that I would like to retain outside of Evernote. Therefore, I would like to add an Mac alias or Windows shortcut to my file/folder inside the note. Unfortunately, the link feature in Evernote does not accept file links, only web links. So, this was my around it and worked quite nicely:
I got stuck trying to display the Django media files from a Django project served using FastCGI configured in Apache. I thought for sure that the issue must be something with Apache so I tried a ton of different configuration variables. I wanted to share in case anyone else runs into the CSS and image files not showing up for the Django admin site. If the admin login to your Django project does not look similar to the below then the media files are not being loaded properly.
I discovered something really cool tonight to help organize my default Gmail account. You can use an unlimited number of aliases which in return will allow you to easily filter or organize incoming email based on numerous factors. By default Gmail will deliver any mail with your firstname.lastname@example.org to your Gmail inbox. This not only works with @gmail.com email addresses but it will also work with any domains you have hosted via Google apps.
