I typically use Zen Cart however a client of mine requires Magento e-commerce software for a project I am working on for them. I will likely be writing a lot of articles regarding Magento in the future since it is a fairly complex piece of e-commerce software since I am new to this e-commerce software. The first article is about disabling other languages which in my case will include disabling the Magento French and German stores however the same concept would apply if you want to disable the English site and either the German or French site. Follow the directions below to remove the language drop down and only use one of the three initially installed Magento stores.

He had Installous version 4 installed but I believe that Installous version 4.1.1 had been released and that is what he wanted to upgrade to. Easy enough however when I attempted to upgrade the package via Cydia it errored out. Below I describe how to get the new Installous installed.
I recently started using Microsoft Communicator for a contract I am working on and wanted to customize it a bit. One of the things I wanted to be able to change was the status that displayed to other people as the default statuses are fairly generic and in my case I wanted to display if I was on an important meeting, working on a project, or just deep in thought. Below are simple directions that can be used to add customized statuses to Microsoft Communicator instant message client.
