Recently Gizmo5 added the ability to configure your Google Voice account within the Gizmo5 interface which allows for you to configure any SIP device (soft or hardware) to have free voice. I happened to have a SPA-2000 around so the below describes how to configure a Sipura SPA-2000 using Gizmo5 and a Google Voice account for free voice. For this howto you will need a SPA-2000, a Gizmo5.com account, and a Google Voice account.
Resetting a Sipura SPA-2000 to the factory default settings is easy. Resetting your Sipura device like this can make configuring things much easier as if you have ever been configured for a previous VoIP SIP provider you may miss a setting to get things working with your current provider. Follow the simple directions below to factory reset your Sipura SPA-2000 device.
Awhile back I upgraded Internet Explorer and ever since the upgrade the start menu icon is showing as a generic default icon. I finally looked into what the issue was tonight and first thought that Windows has released a fix for the issue which you would just need to run an installer and it would resolve the issue. That ended up not fixing my problem however by editing the registry via regedit you can resolve the problem after a reboot. Follow the directions below to fix the Internet Explorer icon in your start menu.
I previously had written an article about the G1 locking up but at a logo screen for T-Mobile/Android. This time it appears that my wife’s cell phone had an issue during boot of some sort. Check out the image below.

Every single time I plug in my iPhone to my Windows XP computer I get a pop up window asking how I want to handle the images from the iPhone. The most annoying part of this is there is no way from that pop up to tell the computer that you don’t want to be asked every single time. The good news is that it is really easy to tell your computer you do not want to be asked every single time. Follow the instructions below to turn off the pop up every time you plug in your iPhone to your Windows XP computer.
