Unfortunately EclipseCrossword is only available for Windows so you cannot install it directly on OSX on a Macintosh computer without the use of third party software. This leaves you a couple options if you only need to view the .ECW files including installing EclipseCrossword via third party software on the Macintosh or have someone with a Windows computer convert the ECW file to a format you can view more easily on your Mac. Below I describe each option in more detail.
Someone asked me how to open .ecw files earlier today. After a little research I was able to find out that the files were associated to EclipseCrossword which is crossword puzzle software. Below are instructions on how to install Eclipse Crossword Puzzle, open the .ecw file, and export the file to something that MS Paint or Microsoft Word can open.
I have been working on a WordPress site for a client of mine and typically use the same theme called Mandigo which offers seven different color schemes. In this specific case my client wanted a color theme outside of the seven color schemes that are offered by default so I needed to modify each of the icons to reflect the requested color scheme by the client. Below are instructions on how to modify all of a specific color in an image to a new color using Adobe Photoshop CS5.
Earlier today a client of mine sent over a .rwa file for me to figure out how to open for him. After the initial searching I found an answer on Yahoo that claimed .rwa files were from some ReliaSoft application called WeiBull++ and also stated that it was possible that the incorrect file association had been made. I was fairly confident neither of these were true in my case since the file was called payroll_reports.rwa I assumed that it was from my clients payroll processing company. I went back to the email that the client had forwarded to me and noticed that the initial email came from the epaylogic.com domain. I was able to find the information necessary to open the RWA file on the Paylogic site.
