Restoring your Outlook 2007 dictionary additions is easy but you just need to make sure you can recover the data or you back the proper file on a regular basis. The additions to the Microsoft Outlook 2007 dictionary are added when you Spell Check an email and instead of correcting the spelling you click the “Add to Dictionary” button.
I recently started using Evernote to store all of the notes I take on a daily basis across plarforms. Evernote allows me to take notes and sync between numerous computers, my T-Mobile Blackberry Curve, and my iPod Touch. One thing that Evernote lacks is a solid method for accessing my notes when I am out of range of an Internet connection. I was pleased to learn that you can actually access your notes offline via IMAP and even though it is not ideal its good enough for now since every other part of Evernote is top notch.
I recently started using Evernote to store all of the notes I take on a daily basis. This allows me to have a centralized storage location for all of my notes that I can access from multiple devices including many computers, iPhone, iPod Touch, the Internet, and my Blackberry 8320 Curve. I was playing around with all of the different types of notes that you could take from the Blackberry device which included regular text notes, voice notes, camera snapshots, and uploading files.
After I took down a voice note with the Blackberry microphone I synchronized it with Evernote and attempted to listen to the voice note from my laptop Evernote installation. It prompted me to install Real Player to be able to listen to the voice note however I am not a fan of Real Player and decided to find out why something else that was already installed would not play the voice note which had a .AMR ending.
I recently wrote an article on how to batch resize images in Adobe Photoshop CS4. If you have been reading any of my recent articles on the site you will know by know that I had a laptop hard drive crash and I lost some settings. One of the settings was the Photoshop Action I had created to batch resize images. Anyhow while configuring the Action I decided to play around more with Photoshop to see if there was another way to resize images and sure enough I found a better way if you don’t mind saving the images as JPEG’s instead of GIF’s.
If you use Photoshop on a regular basis you probably have made customizations to the way that Photoshop functions. A common thing to modify or add to the default Photoshop configuration would be actions. Actions allow you to record multi step processes so they can be repeated easier in the future. One of the more common Actions that might be created would be the batch modification of a set of images as described in a QD article located here.
