Turning off UAC or User Account Control in Windows Vista is easy but a couple items should be considered before turning this feature off.

Considerations:

1. You should only turn UAC off if you are the only user on this computer.
2. You should only turn off UAC if your company policy allows you to do so.
3. Again you should only turn this off if nobody else is going to have unsupervised access to your PC.
4. You have administrator access to this computer.
