We wrote an article awhile back on how to synchronize your iPhone with a 64 bit Windows 7 computer and there have been various comments that we wanted to address in a couple different articles. One of those comments was related to an error attempting to play iPhone iPod application music over bluetooth on your Windows 7 computer. After getting some time we were able to duplicate the exact error which is described in detail below along with a couple tricks that can be used to resolve the issue.

If you have a jailbroken iPhone or iPod Touch you may come across custom applications that you would like to install via iTunes so all of your applications are still managed in one place. I originally thought that I would just be able to drag the applications directly into iTunes, sync my iPod Touch with iTunes, and begin using my new application. I believe this used to be the case before iPhone OS 3.0 was released which is the version of firmware installed on my Touch. Anyhow I attempted to proceed by following the below steps and ran into an error also noted below.

Question Defense uses the WPtouch iPhone Theme Wordpress plugin for displaying the site in a user friendly format for mobile devices. This plugin is by far the best mobile theme I have used to date. Not only is it actively developed and constantly improving but it has an amazing admin page for customizing the mobile theme in many ways. I highly suggest this plugin for anyone with WordPress installed.

If you are in process of downgrading your iPhone or iPod Touch you will more than likely be downloading the older firmware directly from apple.com. When you download this firmware it is provided as a zip file with a .zip file ending such as iPhone2,1_3.1_7C144_Restore.zip. If you unpack this file it will include a couple directories and numerous files as listed below.

If you have installed Cydia on your iPhone or iPod Touch running 3.X firmware there is a good chance that after instaling a bunch of applications you could get to a point that you are running out of disk space on the root partition. By default the root partition is going to only be 500MB and so far I have not found a great way to resize this so it is much easier to resolve using the below method. Cydia does a pretty good job of relocating a lot of the folders from the root (mounted at /) partition to larger var partition (mounted at /private/var).
