Nikon Coolpix s700 Seems to be Double Clicking on Every Picture Taken
Posted by: alex in InsightsI was taking a picture of some electronics equipment but every time I would click the button to take a picture my Nikon Coolpix s700 would click twice and show the image on the screen after the second click. I tried to change various settings on the s700 but nothing seemed to help. I finally tried to do a search on Google but couldn’t find any answers. To make a long story short I took a picture of a wall just to see and the camera finally acted normal by only clicking once and showing me the picture. So I turned the flash from off to automatic and tried taking a picture of the electronics equipment again and the flash kicked off, the camera clicked once, and the image displayed as expected. I came to the conclusion that the camera was having trouble adjusting to all of the black in the picture and was trying to do some sort of double exposure to get a better picture. Needless to say if you run into this problem change the flash settings on your Nikon s700 to see if that helps.
The flash settings can be modified by clicking up on the wheel located on the back of your Nikon Coolpix s700.
