I have been using a Windows 7 laptop for quite awhile as my daily driver and recently wanted to install Backtrack 4 in a virtual machine so I wasn’t required to dual boot or use a different laptop for BT4. I thought about using VMware as Martin wrote an article a couple months ago about installing Backtrack in a VM on Windows 7 but a couple months ago I discovered Windows Virtual PC during a Windows XP VM install. So far I have been really happy with Windows Virtual PC and decided to try installing Backtrack 4 in a Windows Virtual PC virtual machine. Below are the details on how to setup the Windows Virtual PC virtual machine and then information on how to install Backtrack 4 in that VM..VUD, 1024MB, backtrack, bt4, burn image, creator, disc image, dvd, fixed size, iso image, memory, RAM, Roxio, start menu, undo disk, virtual hard disk, virtual machine, VM, windows 7, windows virtual pc

I recently downloaded a trial version of an application that was packaged as an ISO image. I decided to mount the image with Daemon Tools to install the trial instead of burning to a DVD and installing that way. Anyhow I mounted the image which then became drive K: on my computer. Next I clicked on the setup.exe file which launched the trial installation process. After setting a few configuration options the process attempted to begin however I received an error as shown below.
Error: Please insert Application Name into drive K:\ to continue the installation.application, burn, daemon tools, drive, dvd, installation, ISO, iso image, mount, setup.exe
