I booted up a server yesterday that I had not used in quite a long time and had some issues right from the beginning. I remembered the server working the last time it was live so I was assuming I could boot it up and test something on the ruby application that was installed on it. Anyhow when I attempted to connect to the web server, which is Litespeed, via a browser it would simply hang. Below is information regarding what I did to troubleshoot, what the error was, and how the error was corrected..rtreport, /tmp, 7080, 80, admin console, CentOS, httpd, Linux, Litespeed, lscgid, lshttpd, lsws, real time report, swap, swapping directory, swapping space, web server

Starting ruby on rails in development mode with Litespeed is easy. You need to make sure that your database.yml is configured to handle development mode as well. Follow the steps below to start Litespeed running Ruby on Rails in development mode.
Please note both cofiguration settings listed in step one which include setting this to be the default for future virtual hosts and configuring current virtual hosts to restart in development mode.7080, database.yml, development, development mode, Litespeed, mode, PostgreSQL, production, rails, Ruby
