When using X-Chat Aqua on OSX Lion it is possible to get various different errors when making SSL connections to different IRC networks. In this example I was attempting to make a SSL connection to the Freenode IRC network on port 6697. The connection terminated with a SSL error complaining that X-Chat Aqua could not get the local issuer certificate as shown in more detail below.2.0, 6697, certificate, connection options, freenode, internet relay chat, invalid issuer, irc, lion, network, OSX, SSL, ssl connection

I recently had to do a install of VMWare server with 4 guest operating systems and once I got it all going I found that the arrow keys were not working. On some hosts they were mapped to control or shift and on the other hosts they just did not work. After a little searching I found a simple solution. Below I outline how to fix this small issue.2.0, arrow, command, config, guest, host, keys, operating system, OS, server, vmware

By default when you connect your iPhone or Touch to your Windows PC the device will sync with your iTunes. The sync not only synchronizes certain data as described below but it also does a backup of data stored on the iDevice as well. This backup will allow you to restore most items back to your iPhone or iPod Touch if something happens to the data located on that device. Knowing the location of this data can be important in case you want to also take that data and make another backup off of your computer.
