How to Change the Cursor Reply Position in Thunderbird
Posted by purehate in Insights at 10:18 PMI recently switched back to Thunderbird from Outlook for various reasons and I ran into a annoying little thing. When replying to a message the cursor automatically goes to the bottom of the message, under the quoted text. I found this really annoying because it means you have to read or scroll past all the parts of the previous conversation before getting to the new part. After a little bit of messing with the settings I found the solution.
1.In the Thunderbird toolbar go to Edit > Account Settings
2. Find the account you want to change and select “Composition & Addressing”
3. Make sure the box is checked to include the quote in the message
3. In the drop down box change the selection to “Start my Reply Above the Quote”

Pretty Simple but for me it was rather annoying so I thought it may be worth posting.
