Its easy to connect to a Linksys router using the Linux CLI command lynx. Make sure you know if HTTP, HTTPS, or both are allowed for management of the router. Also you will need to know if the router as internal, external, or access from both interfaces. You must also know the username and password and then issue the command listed below.

lynx -auth=username:password URL

The above with using username admin and password 1234 connecting to a Linksys router with an IP address of 192.168.1.1 would look like the below.

lynx -auth=admin:1234 192.168.1.1
