The git-svn tool is a simple conduit for changesets between Subversion and Git. It provides a bidirectional flow of changes between a Subversion and a Git repository.

Adding a WYSIWYG editor interface to the ZenCart admin product descriptions page is easy. By default ZenCart actually offers HTML Area which is OK but since its so easy to upgrade to a real editor like TinyMCE or FCKeditor that is what I would suggest.

First if you want to just enable HTML Area you can do so by following these simple steps.

  1. Login to ZenCart Admin:Login to your online stores ZenCart administration system which is typically your url followed by /admin.

I was attempting to save a file at 16 color 4 bit depth using Photoshop 4 on a Windows XP laptop. After creating or modifying the image and attempting to save the file as a bitmap (.bmp) the bitmap options would popup though I was unable to choose 4 bit under the depth option. I figured the image may have to many colors and decided to try to switch the “Image Mode” to Grayscale.

You may get the following error when attempting to restore a postgreSQL database. The issue will be that you are attemping to restore a dump of a database using PostgreSQL version 8.4 and anove into a PostgreSQL database that is version 8.3 or below.

ERROR:  syntax error at or near “COLLATE”

To resolve this issue manually edit the dump file by removing two options that are included in your database CREATE statements by default in Postgres 8.4 and above as shown below.

Before Editing:

CREATE DATABASE dbname WITH TEMPLATE = template0 OWNER = postgres ENCODING = 'UTF8' COLLATE = 'en_US.UTF-8' CTYPE = 'en_US.UTF-8';
REVOKE ALL ON DATABASE template1 FROM PUBLIC;
REVOKE ALL ON DATABASE template1 FROM postgres;
GRANT ALL ON DATABASE template1 TO postgres;
GRANT CONNECT ON DATABASE template1 TO PUBLIC;
CREATE DATABASE test WITH TEMPLATE = template0 OWNER = postgres ENCODING = 'UTF8' COLLATE = 'en_US.UTF-8' CTYPE = 'en_US.UTF-8';

After Editing:

CREATE DATABASE dbname WITH TEMPLATE = template0 OWNER = postgres ENCODING = 'UTF8';
REVOKE ALL ON DATABASE template1 FROM PUBLIC;
REVOKE ALL ON DATABASE template1 FROM postgres;
GRANT ALL ON DATABASE template1 TO postgres;
GRANT CONNECT ON DATABASE template1 TO PUBLIC;
CREATE DATABASE test WITH TEMPLATE = template0 OWNER = postgres ENCODING = 'UTF8';

As you can see the above examples include the creation of two databases from the dump files that were created using pg_dump.
