WordPress Visual Tab Is Gone – WYSIWYG Editor Missing
Posted by alex in Insights at 5:14 PMMy problem here was in the WordPress admin for posts and pages I was unable to see the visual tab in the entry box. I had seen lots of ideas suggested about how to resolve the issue but none seemed to do the trick. It was mentioned that clearing the cache could resolve the issue or uninstalling the cforms II plugin could also resolve the issue.
This ended up being a really simple problem to solve. Under the profile for the user you are logged in with check the top box that says use the visual editor when writing posts. If this is not checked then the WYSIWYG editor will not appear but once it is checked it will display.

Thank you so much for posting this simple fix. It did the trick for me! :)
